🚨!! Breaking News !! 🚨

Hello everyone,

In 2025, the French Divide returns for its 9th edition. A big change this year: the starting point will not be in Flanders, but in Alsace, in Strasbourg.

The dates will also be quite different from previous years. The start will be on May 31, with a closing meal in Mendionde on June 14.

Another big piece of news... this will be the last edition.

Over the past 10 years, a lot has changed, both in the world of bikepacking and in our personal lives.

Ten years ago, there were no mountain bike events of this scale in Europe. Now, the number of organizations is multiplying.

It’s time for us to pass the torch. It’s also time for us to participate in these new events.

As you can see, between the desire to continue organizing the French Divide and the urge to ride, the choice has been made.

Registration will open on November 11. First come, first served—no waiting list.

Compare to last edition (2023) 50% of the trace will change (90% compared to previous editions)

The lowest mileage ..... but the greatest positive elevation gain

Edition au plus faible kilométrage ..... mais au dénivelé positive le plus important

🇬🇧“April’s fool was too good to be true”
Yes, yesterday was 1st of April.

But for a farce to be good,
it must be close to reality.

At every edition we make the route evolve. To be more and more MTB for example.

The idea of starting in Alsace is not a joke, but an idea to think about.

We are using this year off to offer you a minimum of 50% new route.

Distances, main directions, CPs, day of start, and positive elevation will be announced before the registrations.

They will happen by the end of the year.
